Spot on, Troops!
First thing's first...here's the details on the shoot scheduled for February 10th thus far...
We will be shooting the saber battle between Darth Venge and Dalena, and some of the material that happens before and after that event...
...but, the shots in which Venge cuts down Stormtroopers before being brutally blasted down will be saved for that day when we call down Stormies for the studio shoot in PA. in the next couple of months.
I will therefore need the following characters on the set this weekend at 11 a.m....
- Dalena (Kristin Rath)
- Darth Venge (Julian Landau)

- Aria Corona (Shannon Cromwell)

This should be a particularly emotional scene, as it is revealed here that Aria and Venge are actually siblings...and one of them dies.
Additionally, we will be re-shooting the sequence set aboard the Patriot in which Aria cajoles Vector into joining the resistance's cause(ie. the "bonuses" sequence).
Finally, I would like to have the following performers stop by the studio briefly, if you can make it down...
- Edward Bergtold
- Will Santiago
Reason being is that I have DVDs to hand off to the both of you. This is the fight footage that we filmed at the studio last time we were there.
If you cannot make it? Let me know. Post here or call me. We can arrange a date and time in which I can hand off your DVDs to you. Obviously, the sooner you get them, the more time you'll have to go over the material in preparation for when we shoot them.
Additionally, you'll notice some new names up there next to the characters. We'd like to welcome Patricia Marie and Aurora Miranda(the latter of whom was nice enough to do craft services for our Cantina shoot, by the way) to the cast, playing the roles of Torey and Selara Hearth, respectively!
You'll also notice that Shannon Cromwell has taken over for the role of Aria Corona. Noooo, Samantha did NOT remove herself from this production entirely...she is still our legal representative and is still firmly behind this project, but her schoolwork and her personal matters are demanding her attention as of late. I do, however, look forward to seeing how Shannon will approach this role and hope, somehow, someway, that Samantha can take some time to come down and see how we're doing as we make our way to August of '07!
Sam has also handed off website-management duties to our own Dave Atlas...and I'm sure you've noticed something a little different, lurking up there on the top lefthand corner of the Forums? That's Dave confirming that he will be spiffying things up even as he continues his work both on his Batman fanfilm and our CGI imagery. He's already produced some eye-opening visuals to prove he's got the goods to make this happen...and there will be NO sign of any "green halos" whatsoever!
Looking ahead to the 24th, all I can say at the moment is that we will be looking to shoot the introductory sequence with the Hearths(Brant, Selara and Torey), in addition to getting some material done with Branan Whitehead, aka Darth Szaal!
That darn schedule got delayed again on account of some urgent news delivered by one of our performers, but it WAS worked on and I will try to have it for you all very soon!
Keep checking back here in the days leading up to our shoot date, as I may throw in some additional scenes that we can shoot as we make our way towards our own personal endgame: August 25th, 2007...the very last day of principal photography!
